The day of: Standing with my fellow vendors amidst grass, trees, mismatched collection of my china and linen, flowers, cakes, sandwiches & desserts and all that in the natural fresh air of Singh Farm, it seemed like I had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen era or Burnett’s Secret Garden…
To style a garden tea! Oh yes, of course… and why not? As an owner of vintage treasures, this dream never gets old for us here at Tea Crockery. Lisa, a skilled florist from Ambiance contacted me for this garden tea party shoot at Singh Farm. For all the desert-habitant Scottsdalians, Singh Farm is a local sweetheart. It provides just the right backdrop for a tea-themed fete. Lisa had on board some of the very best cakeries and bakeries which joined hands to come up with a very impressive menu! The shoot is an inspiration for conceivable regular garden teas at the farm when permitted by the weather. Lisa took in charge of the dessert table and did an amazing job with flowers and china. The guest tea table was styled by me, which gave me amazing pleasure of looking at my china with a different eye. The setup was shot by David Moore, a renowned photographer. His work was extraordinary on website and all the more when the pictures came…you will concur to me as you scroll down!
