A tea party with French Accents!
Totally smitten by this tea party!
Get ready to be transported to a French countryside and enjoy the beauty of this birthday tea styled by Nikki from Tikkido, who is a very creative person, wonderful at matching her design sense with the client’s personality! This is the second time she has employed my china for her teas and each time with her touch my collection evoked a complete distinct impression; so specific to each setting that she created. She planned this tea for her friend’s birthday party who is a French professor, thus the theme ingredients were very much so!
The motif was encore with white, blue and yellow colors; the mismatched china thrown en bloc! This gave a totally stunning, yet very calm look of a typical French affair. Hand-made details in fabrics, lace and paper were accentuating the events (some of these pretty details came back in the boxes to my home – so yes they are available to be used at your parties now!). Nikki prepared tea food (recipes on her blog!) including variety of sandwiches and French pastries: scones, éclairs, apricot crumb bars, mini pavlovas, and macarons. The teas were provided by Tea Royalty. (I yet have to meet the person behind these romantic and fancy tea blends! Looking forward!)
